"Much better"? No. "Better"? Yep, in this case.
Voda used to be the king of cellphone awesomness, but it's gone downhill a lot.

Well they took over ihug, so was inevitable.
|
15th July 2008, 16:40 | #4250 |

I'm kinda jaded with VF as well. Been with ihug since 1995, had my 021 since 2000ish, yet there is no loyalty thing going, or some wicked good internet/cell/home phone plan. In fact, cell phone reception is pretty piss poor in my area and I miss a lot of important calls as a result... the moment Telecunt goes GSM, I might swap my sim card. Vodafone got too big, greedy and arrogant as a result - pretty much what Telecom was a year ago.
|
15th July 2008, 16:47 | #4251 |
|
Yep Vodafone GMG atm too. Will certainly consider Telecom when their network is launched.

Me too. VFNZ lost the plot as soon as they got more than 50% market share. They had been pushing for years to get to that point and when they did - WTF what do we do now? Ah - I know, now that we are the big boy let's act like one and screw the very people that got us here.

Driving between Levin and Wellington twice this morning($$$) I noticed the average open road speed has dropped to between 85 and 95 kph. It's understandable in this day and age as it reduces the amount of fuel but this one particular individual southbound.....
30 kph through Otaki... 70 to 80 kph open road south... 50kph through Te Horo(80kph limit) and then I could finally get past him with a long Hoooooooonk and a "I Would love to stab you in the face" glare. As tempting as it was to flip him the bird and scream obscenities as well, having my name on the vehicle and a handy 0800 number on the back(plus my number) could lead to trouble Last edited by Simon K : 15th July 2008 at 22:10. |

Fuck yes, especially when they realise - after you start to pull out after waiting fuck-knows how long - that they actually have right of way and then charge into the intersection.

I always thought that one of the suckiest things about being in radio or TV would be 'pretending to be really happy' all the time when something really tragic happens in your life. You still have to have a really good sense of humour and act all happy and party time even when you're not feeling it :/

Or you could grow a spine and realise she's holding you to emotional ransom and if you take her back she will likely do it to you again. (as you've approved that kind of behaviour from her)
Healthy relationships last without all the drama of a million break-ups. Unless of course you're under the age of 20
