It is true that there are civilised countries below New Zealand on the list. Sweden is a civilised country, which you readily admit. It is below New Zealand on the list. Therefore, there is more that we could be doing as a civilised country. QED.

Are you sure it's not because we're actually not that industrialised? Or that we benefit for non-fossil fuel based energy sources like geothermal and hydro?
