Well, I'm only watching season one now and James Spader, William Shatner, Rene Auberjonois and Lake Bell have all had major roles in sci-fi. And are the majority of the lead actors in at least the first season.
I'm sure I spotted one or two other actors that had previous sci-fi experience. Crazy.

Quite funny how Boston Legal drops about 3 cute girls at the same time Schmidt/Candice Bergen comes onto the show, including the originally billed Lake Bell.
She's had a rough run ole Lake Bell. Surface didn't get picked up for a second season and knocked off Boston Legal. She seems like a good actress and she's pretty hot.

Hey what is the season of Nip/Tuck that's currently playing on TV2 at the moment?
I actually really enjoy this program now... never gave it a chance before. C |

I've never watched an episode, but one of the most amazing woman I know, loves this show and she's the most successful female I know, of her age. I might have to give it a shot -- now I've seen someone I respect mention it. You bastard! |

Of the new series starting shortly, Life, Chuck and Bionic Woman aren't too bad (also, Reaper). Will have to see about BW, but it has promise, starting out with a kick ass fight always helps.
It seems like everything starts up again next week - internet assplode! Burn Notice has been a great fill in over the "summer" break and the two hour finale next week should be a corker. Bruce Campbell is a funny guy. |

Anyone following Mad Men (on AMC)?
Killer series IMO. By a Sopranos writer, set in a Madison Avenue ad agency in 1960. Very Sopranos-esque in terms of dialogue styling and pace. Interesting post war long boom and Great Dpression based themes. Pity it is broadcast in nasty cable SD but still well worth the watch for purveyors of intelligent watching. Saxondale season two is running nicely too. Check season one if you have any appreciation for Steve Coogan. It has probably already been mentioned, but anyone not watching the Chaser's War on Everything on ABC (AU) is insane. |

The 4400 - 4x13 - The Great Leap Forward
I'm pretty sure that was the season finale and IMO it was pretty good. Heaps of people died. Heaps of new abilities are on the horizon. Season 5 should be quite interesting indeed.
Sucks they got rid of Isabelle, fuck she was a fox. SO hot. |

Journeyman = fucking cool. Stars Kevin McKidd (Vorenus from Rome) as a guy who ends up traveling backwards in time for no apparent reason, missing from "the real world" for days before returning.

Glad to see someone else watching. I know what you mean about the vacancy, yet I still find myself enjoying it. It's not an amazing show but a nice change of pace from hype network shows i.e. Prison Break, Heroes etc.
