StarLink users
Hey - rando question, but I've seen over the last do or so that Starlink users are having their reported locations flapping between US/NZ for NZ users - the IP6 number are the same in access logs, but Azure conditional access is allowing me to interpret the same address differently.
Is that an Azure lookup issue, or a TTL on the SpaceX owned addresses?? |

Righto chaps.
If, perchance, you configure access in Azure to limit by geolocation, you may want to add : 2406:2d40:4200::/40,NZ,NZ-AUK,Auckland, 2406:2d40:7200::/40,NZ,NZ-AUK,Auckland ...as in-country ranges (or semi trusted depending on how you do it). At present, these switch between US/NZ on various DNS lookups depending on how refined the search is (some higher mask registrations just have US based SpaceX). |
