Gun b good watching the Q nutters (and there's even some who post here) perform the necessary mental gymnastics to actually, this is all part of the plan and Biden is being hanged tomorrow at Gitmo etc etc.

He could still win the election. Meme machines are indifferent to petty things like US felony convictions.

The convictions are simply evidence of how corrupt the the system is, that Joe Biden and the Deep State apparatus could rig a court case like that. The only course of action from here is to burn down the entire system, and the way to do that is by re-electing Donald Trump.

I'm looking forward to the sentencing.
No remorse, harassing of the judge and his family, double digit violations of the gag order. It's a low time felon and a first time offender, but oh man I wish even for a little bit of jail time.

When the status quo is tens of thousands of children bombed to death by Western manufactured weapons, you can understand how many are left wondering how worse could it get.
But really the election is going to be a competition between grassroots driven and meme driven agendas. Which is not to say there isn't overlap between them. It has that same energy of the 1930s of using new tech to snatch power. But with considerable differences. There's been good work done around gender identity. It's pretty difficult to create wide splits in the community like that these days, but there's been a decent wedge driven in there. Sweeping up many who would normally be resistant to such divisiveness.

I think the real problem here is that it's Trump or Biden. Imagine if Biden stepped down and the democrats had another Obama waiting in the wings then all of this would be moot. Actually it wouldn't even need to be someone the caliber of Obama to convince voters in the middle away from a convicted felon from being president. There should be best before date on world leaders.

The orgasmic glee that many leftie American commentators are displaying at Trump's conviction is kinda... gross? Like, half of them are outright admitting that the charges were kinda flimsy but that doesn't matter because "we" had to get him for something because he's just a terrible person and hold on that's not the way the law is supposed to work..?

re: the charges, my reading and commentary I'd seen suggested that this first case was the weakest, and that a conviction wasn't certain.
The absolute strongest, slam dunk case is the doc's case that's been slow walked, and pretty effectively killed by the judge who is so in the tank for him it's astounding that she's not been removed from the case. Add to that the SCOTUS also slow-walking the immunity gibberish to push it past the election is another quiet part out loud example of the corruption in the courts at the highest level. So, my take is that the glee you are seeing is because at least "something" has happened that is a matter of consequence. YMMV. |

This is pretty much the current state of Western democracy.
