Can someone change the subject line?
I came on here knowing that all the threads say NZ Vs SA etc. Edit, plus the fact there is already an olympics thread, and a NZ Vs SA thread |

I watched the replay at 10 and also made sure that there was no way I could have it spoilt. E.g. nzgames, pc, phone calls, txts, tv before the game etc etc

Oh well, it probably kept my stress levels down a bit knowing the score in the end. Meant I didn't worry about those missed kicks. |

If you are planning on watching delayed coverage of an All Black test and you visit this forum before you watch it you're a retard plain and simple and deserve to have it ruined for you.
Fantastic game. Highlight was definitely Toeava's 50m busting run!

Well Henrys done it again, thumping the Aussies at home and now holding the world champs to a donut in South Africa. Well done, congratulations! Hopefully that'll keep those little Robbie Deans pillow biters quiet for a wee while, I doubt Robbie Deans will or could ever hold the springboks to zero away or at home.

However checking a RUGBY forum before settling in to watch a replay is just as silly as posting the result in a subject line. |

You can see tArd's post from the main page of the forum when it's the last posted, let alone open discussion, let alone in this rugby area. It's forum etiquette to avoid spoiling shit like this in subject lines, plain and simple.

I managed to avoid it until I'd watched the game, but yeah, highly uncool.

I went teh NZHerald site on Sunday morning to check Olympic results and the dumb bastards had it as a major headline: ABs win in SA. I mean WTF!!!
After seeing they won I gave in and checked the score but I had to keep my trap shut or the Mrs would have lynched me. I did warn her away from the Herald site though

The newspaper often has the headline of who wins, NZGames does not. I also noticed during the game on Prime, they showed a clip of Carters try before it was scored. They didn't say how the game went though. |

The best spoiler I ever saw was when Prime was televising the Blues vs Crusaders delayed by 2 hours on Prime a few seasons ago and there was a Prime News Headlines segment at half time saying that Auckland had won!!! WTF?!!!!!!! nice one!

Yeah bro
The TAB has halved the odds over the course of a week. Don't reckon we can blow it so long as no one gets injured in the weeks leading up to Brisbane. |

So there are 2 games (SA v OZ). What do we want to have happen. They each win 1 with no bonus points. Or do we need one of the teams to win both.

it doesnt matter as long as we win in Brisbane
If SA wins both without bonus points I think it's ours regardless though.

We don't care about the results but we want the Aussies to get battered over the course of those two games, so we steam roll them good in Sydney.
Will be amazed if they get to Brisbane without a few injuries and some jet lag, and we'll be waiting for them fully fit and refreshed. It has the makings of a resounding 13+ win all over it. |

If Aussie win again this weekend, I'd rather they didn't get a bonus point :P Looking at the table a bonus point win will put them at 18, then if we do beat them (we have to beat them to win tri nations) without a bonus point, they could still win the tri nations if they got a 7 points or less bonus point on us as well.
Anyone know the deciding factor if we both end up on the same points? (ie, they win with a BP against SA, and we beat them with no BP and they dont get one either) Would we win based on the fact that if it got to that stage we would have beaten Oz twice, or does it come down to points differential? Don't know how to call the game in Brisbane, Aussie step it up big time at home it seems, especially against the ABs. Last edited by DeskJet : 26th August 2008 at 07:12. |

It would come down to the for and against points differential which we're currently well in the lead in after two successive wallopings. Surely Aussie can't beat SA again, no way.
