Eden Park Hosting all RWC Finals Matches

Pretty pathetic if you ask me. Aucklanders couldn't even get a decent stadium built on the waterfront. Ended up with a pissy excuse for Eden Park, that is getting temporary seating, and still end up getting all the Good end of the matches.

If this is the attitude of the NZRU then we definately won't be seeing any games played in Heartland rugby.

Martin Sneddon can suck a fat one.

Well if Wellington had of thought about it when they were building the cake tin, they could of built an extra 20k seats and may have hosted some of the finals. The point is they want bums on seats at the stadium and no other stadium has it.

The finals were always going to be at Eden Park. They really had no choice considering the size of the other stadiums.

How many seats will be avaialble at Eden Park including the temp seating?

The seating will be around 60k. I believe that was the minimum we needed for a final to even host the WRC.

Hosting the WRC at Eden park would be interesting. Special stages I'm guessing.
