Watching some of the actual people involved, a lot of them are still smiling and laughing with dozens of people holding up cell phones filming... Right now, this is still a spectacle to so many of them. They don't realise the REAL danger they face. To a lot of them, mainly 20-30 year olds, this is adrenaline, exhilaration, a connection to something that is bigger than them and a sense of danger.
The older people just seem tired and scared. They've seen it all before, and know where this could end up.
