The first season has concentrated entirely on their flaws - the runner now has the ultimate method of running away, Simon gets to watch, Nathan gets to be even more of a prick because he can't suffer long term consequences etc...
I just find them having so little redeeming character at the moment. I kinda hope the second season shows them growing a bit. As I said the most sympathetic one is the runner and he is hard to like.
