Evolution is neat.
Perhaps Microsoft could make it part of its .Net strategy, an annual subscription-based ASP that would grant you unlimited* software upgrades for 12 months.
It would re-define the term 'Operating System', don't you think?
They could call it 'Darwin', too. Why not? If you're gonna steal ideas you might as steal the good ones, no?
