Note: Not you specifically LS but when immigration from other countries occurs the complaints are almost always either demonstrating cultural or racial intolerance. Italians & Irish in New York in the 20's to 40's, the Polish in the UK, etc. Most of the purchasing here is for residential property for people to actually live in - they are emigrating, not investing, and for a whole melting-pot of reasons, they prefer Auckland.
