Couple of other things which may help ideas wise...
The water below me was on the boarder of the affected areas from the Oil tanker "Prestige", that broke apart in november of last year.
Also back in 1987, 23 crew members died when a ship full of sodium kinda sunk and caught fire just off the coast. If anyone can remember back to Form 2 chemistry class....Sodium + water = bad.
