Hygiene comes to mind. It's an external part of your body, that is frequently exposed to "dirty" things. Over the years, you sorta wonder what the bacteria are doing under the protection of your foreskin...
I can't see any troubles the might arise as a result of the operation. I had the snip done when I was quite young. Around 4 I think. No problems and the ladies have no problems with him at all
