People who say "thank you" and really mean it - I put a lot of effort into being friendly and helpful and it's actually great when people realise that, appreciate it AND comment on it - makes the day so much better.
It's even better when they (of their own volition) hunt down the contact details for my manager and phone (and email) them saying I deserve a pay rise and the customer service they received was the best of any organisation (private market or public service) they have received.
