Found through Shader Toy (shadertoy.com) which is a cool little interactive environment for making graphics/sound with math/WebGL.
Char Stiles worked on the video, and made the comment that it [shader toy] is only the programming language where "bugs are beautiful".
A similar site is smoothstep.io
It's all very nerdy, but very impressive. Kinda like the demo scene, but with powerful graphics cards instead of tiny bits of code to be triggered by raster lines.
