ok i have to confess to my infidelity. I played Dungeon Siege 2 instead of Diablo 2 lately. But the more I played it the more I think it is just Diablo 2 in 3d. From the skill tree, gameplay to the items it is the same. Except the graphics is beautiful, rather than the soul crushing 2D 800x600 res in Diablo2.
And then I watched the 'making of' video of Dungeon Siege 2 and they keep refusing to acknowledge the elephant in the room. Instead they keep saying how they want to make Dungeoan Siege 1 fans happy blah blah blah. OBVIOUSLY every single one of the developers played Diablo 2 long enough to carbon copy everything into Dungeon Siege 2, and OBVIOUSLY the fans want Diablo 2 in 3D, hence the result.
