So I've this week been appointed Team Leader of my team and I feel like I'm on a hiding to none before I've even started...
Our previous Team Leader announced he was leaving to another team/area in the office with a couple of weeks notice, while at the same time, one of our team members handed in her notice and has had a minimal amount of time to train her inexperienced replacement before she leaves, even though she gave a full 4 weeks notice.
She was also the back up to me in my role, so now by becoming Team Leader I also have to train a somewhat inexperienced replacement for myself.
Oh and I've just learnt that another member of my team is currently undergoing disciplinary proceedings for cutting corners in a major way!
This could either be an epic save in the making..... or I'm screwed.
