I also acknowledge that "exterminations and no records" was the British Empire's method in many other places it invaded, so one might also say we were fortunate to get the particular Britain that we got. A bit earlier and we might have been treated like the Australian Aborigines; a bit later and we might have been treated like the Kikuyu.
