I'm gonna put together a mongrel box for the boy -- I mean me - to do some Winminecraft. I could use some advice on specs; I haven't used a non-Mac box for anything other than headless Linux server duties in a loooooong time.
I've got a desktop box here with an Intel DG33TL mobo, 2.3GHz C2D, G33 Express integrated video, 2 Gb of DDR2 RAM. It's got vacant PCI-e x1 and PCI-e x16 slots. I assume I'll need a real video card? Will 2Gb of RAM cut it for Minecraft?
