While the Covid crisis has certainly been a kick in the nuts for modern capitalism, I wouldn’t say that public sentiment is against it. Most people are happy to be part of that system. People just like being looked after in times of anxiety, and that’s right up Jacinda’s alley. That ain’t a Left Bloc, it’s a Jacinda Bloc.
