And to my lasting surprise you STILL haven't said whose car it is. Let me guess: it's actually yours, but you just put it under your dad's name in anticipation of exactly this kind of eventuality, so you could make a song and dance and try to weasel out of your punishment on a technicality?

Just pay your fucking fine. You did something wrong. It wasn't the road's fault, it wasn't the government's fault, it wasn't the engine's fault, it was your fault. Part of being an adult is not blaming everything and everybody else for your mistakes. Pay the damn fine, you're not horse trading here. You got nothin'.
