I think this comic raises a big problem but not the one you think. It perfectly illustrates Survivorship Bias. The only visible people who have platforms to protest against cancel culture are those who are big/established/tenured enough to do so. The reason why we don't see small/young/job-insecure people complaining about cancel culture is because they cant afford to be cancelled. it'd destroy their lives. So they've been silenced.
People who fear for their livelihoods can't and don't take the risk. Or they do and get cancelled.
