I used to be part of the Vitamin S experimental music group in Auckland. Met every monday at Wine Cellar. This kind of thing would happen from time to time. Home made instruments, effects pedals. mostly we'd drink red wine and pretend the experimental noise was palatable.
You could notate it like how John Cage notated prepared piano... but an interesting question on whether effects notation can be standardised, there's perhaps too much to capture especially as it changes over time. It's improvised to a large extent, and personally I believe improv shouldn't be transcribed except for practicing and learning.
