Sweden and Finland haven't joined. Their application to join came in response to Russian invasion. If anything, this gave Russia even more reason to make an example out of Ukraine.
Turkey, Hungary can -- and likely will -- veto the NATO application if it is seen as more provocation toward Russia. Given all the celebration that Sweden / Finland were sticking it to Putin with their application, it's clear it was intended to provoke.
Ukraine's borders are about to get ripped to shreds. Poland has a electricity supply agreement with Ukraine which is on hold while Ukraine's lights are out. Poland has invested in energy carrying infrastructure across Ukraine land. Are they really about to let this investment / energy supply go to waste?
If Poland rejoices at a destitute Germany, imagine how little regard they have for Ukraine. When regime change in Ukraine is underway, when the East is getting carved up, Poland will take what's theirs. Then, I hope you will be fair and say Poland "just wants to grab as much land as possible"
