At which latitude does solar stop being cost effective, I wonder? I mean, you'd get more bang for you buck buying solar in Auckland than you would in Wellington, because Auckland is further north and thus has longer sunlight hours in winter. What would be the farthest south that you'd want to be for buying solar?
