Those barely out of the nest who have spent a very long time under state and parent control take some time to break free and form their own views of how the world should be. If you like there's an element of Stockholm syndrome to get over.
I'd like to imagine that you were just playing the fool but sadly I know that wasn't the case.
I love today's gut-punch to labour too - some of labour's very dearest voters are getting their houses refurbished by National; something labour always refused to do. This is the right thing to do of course but as always it seems it has taken National to actually do it.
