Maybe "false positive" is not helpful terminology regarding PCR test. From what I understand, if the PCR test is positive it definitely has found the COVID virus present in a sample no matter how small and harmless. So for MIT to have so few positives from PCR testing, I'd say it's because COVID just isn't present in the sample base.

My issue is that positive is equated with infectious. Which is ideal if your realistic goal is eradication (Australia, NZ ... MIT?), but a disaster for pretty much every other country where COVID is now endemic. The roadmap appears to be lockdown until safe vaccine arrives.
