Yeah, that totally wasn't an excuse to justify any reduction in services. Unlike us, the rest of the world hasn't engaged in any kind of austerity measures, what we're seeing is some social phenomena unrelated to the decisions of our leadership. Social collapse is just something that happens, who knows how or why. Social services are just like love to a child. Indulgent but ultimately unnecessary.
