Flasks are easy to make and help a lot, not using them out of some misguided sense of pride? L2P on you, all the best guilds use them because it helps.
A decent size guild that farms the mats up for them can make them easy and if they prevent a wipe then they've saved time, saving time is a good thing. Those of you with kids would understand
Everyday I log in I have black lotuses, stonescale and gromsblood more than I need in my mailbox. Guildies send them COD at market rates and I take gold from the bosses to cover them, those who don't send mats end up having to find gold some other way to cover their repairs and pots.
As for the DKP system we use, if it works, don't fix it IMO.
