Like other stats, Maori are over represented in the uplifts based on population.
I agree, there will always be fringe cases which maybe they made the wrong judgement.
But you know what, they have probably saved 100's of children dying.
There are probably plenty of Kahui's out there, that had their children removed.
My take is a lot of the hype is from the white "privileged" who can only think in their own circumstances. They think of it like if someone came and took their baby away.
