Man I've lost track of how many place I've worked over the years but...

Vertigo Computers - Sales Meeple - bout a year and a half
MFish - data entry then information officer - bout 4 years
Mobil Oil - Customer Service (phone flunk) - 9 months (King of the Temps)
Bar Bodega - Events organiser - on and off over a year (gig slave)
MinEd - various postions (data entry / data validation) 8 - 10 months
MinHealth - Data Validation - probably about 5-6 months
HP - Phone flunky - various contracts, probably about 5 months in total
Domainz - Customer Services whipping horse - bout 7 months
MoRST - Data validation / office flunky - bout a year
ERMA NZ - Contact Centre Team Leader (meh I WAS the contact centre) - 5 years
Victoria University (SEFTMS)- Research Assistant - as of now 2 weeks :-)

In amongst all that various short term temp contracts, probably 15 - 20 during a 2 year period. Also playing in bands - which, yes, I did actually earn some money from, enough to kinda live off. Also various jobs doing gardening, builders assistant (general labourer), house painting, survey work, theatre hand and report writing (private contracts).

Had a few periods of sustained unemployment (more than 3 months at a time), drew a benefit for a bit - but also busked to support myself (which I DID declare despite the fact I probably could have gotten away with not doing so).

I'd probably say maybe 40+ different jobs over a 22 year period (since 16).
