I actually expected something along those lines
She talks about stronger minds are harder and both minds are in there together.
I thought that maybe she did enchant him and it was more of a test to see what he would do and for her to learn more.
But if that was the case, I'm sure they would have wrapped it up in that episode and not let it carry on to the next.
