To a certain degree it's caring more about the optics of the situation than the clinical reality.
What impact will it have on the economy to isolate people when it's potentially unnecessary due to false-positives? It's a question that people far more experienced and knowledgeable than you or I are researching, and even at it's worst case, it's inconsequential IMO.
