I am about halfway through the Amazon miniseries adaptation of The Stand, and it's kinda... meh. Not great, not terrible. I was worried, because the book is right up there for me. Bonus points for casting against type by having Amber Heard play a backstabbing psycho bitch who manipulates men with her attractiveness to get what she wants.
One thing that really shits me though, is the writers just got Flagg and his Las Vegas totally wrong. So wrong I wonder if they actually read the book at all.
