It's actually less noisy than my China bass - it could be the aftermarket pickups themselves, or the fact I twisted the pickup wires around each other before they get soldered to the control knobs. After leaving it under tension, the neck seems to be a bit better than it was last night, and the fret rattles have gone away! I'm very pleased with the result. |
