Oh, maybe that is where I am going wrong.
I know I would not be good at managing people, and I know that I couldn't follow all the stupid HR practices that would be required. So therefore I know not to apply for manager roles.
I had a couple of opportunities when previous managers left, but it never ever interested me.
So basically I should have, and just been shit.
