Pedant alert:
The plural of fish is fish.
`That school of fish as many fish in it`
The plural of fish **species** is fishes
`There are many species of fishes, and of each species there are multiple fish`
So technically, we are all fish.
We are not all fishes because we are all one species (although that is debateable these days)
