China's response is apparently to schedule live fire exercises around Taiwan. No special military operation suggested so far tho.

The thing with Taiwan is China (and the world) is dependant on their chip fabrication plants. One idea I heard is Taiwan could basically have a plan to quickly destroy the plants as leverage against China in the case of any invasion.
