I had a job interview this morning at an electronics manufacturing facility which is less than 1km from my house. I think it went well - I did it the old-fashioned way and went to the place and asked if I could see the machines that they use. It's a chance to switch industries - I'm sick of typical IT jobs. If it involves the cloud/AWS, Javascript and a web framework, or some m0f0's user account, I honestly couldn't give a shit.
