He was spoon fed the worlds most soft ball question to give him an opportunity to show compassion and empathy, and Trump took it and perceived it as an attack.
He isn't able to show emotion, empathy, or the ability to connect to other humans on an emotional level. It's never happened.
His response was so foreign to almost everyone listening because regular people have a regular emotional response.
It's antisocial personality disorder, aka psychopathy. Clear as day.
