I'm not expecting things to improve for Palestinians.

However I do think if they manage to keep Netanyahu in opposition, the cycle of destruction and rebuilding will be disrupted. I think establishing new settlements will also be difficult also, even with the new PM standing in support of them.

Netanyahu's government was very comfortable with power. Simply disrupting that is a win for Palestinians.
