Well, yes wizardofOz, that's fine... But that isnt exactly the purpose of this thing we are embarking on. The challenge is to try and make something that suites a theme. To compose outside your comfort zone.
Give it a go, play around with something with this theme in mind. You liked Hayfever Blues... think about a way to soundtrack hayfever. It's a worthy challenge, no? What kind of rhythm suits hayfever? Does the melody flow like your snot, or jump around like your random sneezing?
