To be fair it was time-and-dimension-travel - at minimum in a new, semi-isolated timeline, with the Stones returned at the end.
The hilarious piece here is when people start twigging to the full multiverse potential: Was that
Earth 199999 Cap that showed up all old at the end, or one from another Earth with a mostly the same timeline, while E199999 Cap, say, turned out to be immortal, goes back and ends up becoming some crazy global dictator or something because He Knows Best.
