Combine this with the comment made about JJ, and I think they both could do with spending some time working in England, making shows for BBC or 4.
It would do wonders to force them to work in an arena where they
had to stick to one, at most two, seasons to tell a story, and
that was it with no guarantee of a follow up, even if it's a smash hit. Make them have the entire season plotted, with an ending, before they even get to get behind a camera.
