I remember as a pre-teen playing with the other kids, we were messing around with outfits and costumes. Someone had used hair ties on my to create a kind of mohawk. I recall some adults in my community taking that as an opportunity to shame me for being a girl, cause only girls wear hair ties, etc., etc, and who would want to be a girl, etc., etc.

That's the kind of GenderWooWoo I see no place for in our society.

But I get it, you've got your justified beliefs. And like many whose beliefs ascend to the realm of religion you feel those beliefs need to be imposed on everyone.
