I learned this the other day and found it quite disturbing....
Women, in groups so it's more acceptable, are 'fasting'. Of course, to you and me and Joe Obvious that's just starvation for a week ... but if you call it 'fasting' then it's got that whole PC-acceptable-hippy-aura around it.
Call it what you will, it's still an eating disorder. And it's messed up.
