Don't listen to those of us who are hassling you (me included).
History is littered with first cousin mariages. Hell, the royal family is one example - so many blood-related marriages it's scary.
Ultimately there's nothing you can do about it. If you both like each other then that's all there is to it. But you will have to put up with narrow-minded ridicule - the social stigma in Western society is pretty huge.
