The *flood* is not a biblical concept, its been easily traced back to Sumerian/Mesopotamian beginnings, and indeed there has been proof of a few rather large floods, especially in those areas.
This proves jack shit, merely that the bible has stolen some MORE stuff from earlier mythologys and religions.
As for the "gays are gay because they choose to be" comment, I would have to say Fuck You.
