For hundreds of millennia women have been oppressed by men in virtue of our different bodies and evolutionary drives. We, societally, have relatively recently - in historical terms - acknowledged that this oppression is unfair, and accordingly have created protected spaces for girls and women, including but not limited to physical places, clubs, hospitals, schools, and sporting competitions where they are free from the possibility of that oppression occurring. There are places where men should not go, and yes that restriction applies to men who think they're women.
