Well, we're now into the self-sustaining phase. Let's call it the "traditional media puts the boot into new media" phase. Newspapers and TV news have a vested interest in making this Internet thing with its interblogs and sociable mediums out to be a stinking cesspool of useless trivia and/or vicious partisan hackery. You can trust the newspapers, they wouldn't lie. Not like people on the Internet.
